Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids was born in Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. The mother of the child was home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick is always a fan of performing, dancing and creating puppet shows. When she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was just 6 year old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting into the entertainment industry. Her first major role came during 1964, which was when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play The Wind It up until It breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from among 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to play the eldest of three towheaded daughters on the brand new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. The book revealed the fact that McCormick almost lost her virginity while on set of the series during the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. The incident could have occurred, she said but the timing wasn't right for us.
